The AM acousto-magnetic system works as follows:

  • The gates emit a 58 kHz field within the detection zone,
  • AM tags and clips respond to this field by entering a state of resonance,
  • When an active tag passes through the gate, it is detected by the antennas,
  • the system analyses the signal and detects a safety device that has not been deactivated,
  • Upon detection, an audible and/or visual alarm is triggered.
